Rising funeral costs, language barriers and an unfamiliar funeral system can make it difficult for your loved ones to make Spanish funeral arrangements and in addition, at a very difficult time for them.

Most Spanish funerals take place within 48 hours and must be paid in advance which makes it very difficult for loved ones and family, either in Spain or abroad to deal with the process whilst any delay may incur more costs. Not to mention the language barriers that the bereaved need to deal with.

Masonic Funeral Plan Spain is a private plan for our Members and their spouse/partner which enables you to pay for your funeral in advance and protect your loved ones against the costs and administrative complications.

It is run by our members for our members and enables us to provide the most cost competitive plan that you can find.

Who is eligible?

How easy is it to join?

Are there any hidden costs?

Joining the plan could not be easier.  You can speak to your Lodge Almoner or complete the online application form in the 'Registration' section of this website or use the button below.

It was so easy, at a time that we had to deal with the loss of Dad they took care of everything and as they were Brother Masons, it felt even more caring....
My wife and I have complete peace of mind that all arrangements are made and our families do not have to worry about anything. Joining was easy and much lower than other quotes we had....

In Freemasonry, the broken column is well known as the emblem of the fall of one of the chief supporters of the Craft. The use of the column or pillars as a monument erected over a tomb was a very ancient custom, and was a very significant symbol of the character and spirit of the person interred.

"His work was not done, yet his column is broken;
Mourn ye and weep, for ye cherished his worth;
Let every tear-drop be sympathy'a token -
Lost to the Brotherhood, lost to the earth.
